Welcome to the 2009 Pacific Musical Society Annual Competition!
In the 2008-2009 season, there are 2 competition stages: a Preliminary and a Final Competition. Competitors are judged by panels of respected professional musicians. To participate in the Final Competition, an applicant must have performed in the Preliminary stage. Finalists are selected from each category to compete in the Final Competition; the number of finalists will be at the judges’ discretion.
Winners of the Final Competition perform at the Winners’ Concert, which is followed by an Awards Presentation and Reception. All winners must attend the Winners’ Concert in order to receive their awards.
The application deadline for the 2009 Competition is January 20, 2009.
