Important Update on Competition Finals due to COVID-19

On Friday March 6th we learned that due to COVID-19 the San Francisco Office of the Mayor has directed the Herbst Theater to cancel all events through March 20 (see the Mayor's press release here). Hence our 2020 Competition Live Finals will not be held on Sunday, March 8 as planned.
Please stay tuned for updates as we evaluate our options for how to proceed. For those of you who have purchased tickets, we expect that City Box Office will be contacting you directly regarding refunds.

The Pacific Musical Society & Foundation is a charitable fellowship of classical music lovers dedicated to fostering the art of classical music and ensuring the success of young classical musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded in 1910, we are the oldest active musical organization in the Bay Area.

Through your financial support, the Pacific Musical Society & Foundation directly sponsors talented young musicians through our annual competition and works to support the continued interest in and viability of classical music in the Bay Area and beyond. You can read more about our mission here and see the highlight performances from our 2019 annual competition finals below:

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
